EXPERIENCE:

Formed Thomas E.Dum Real Estate Appraisers with Thomas Dum, MAI, SRA in 1970. Incorporated in 1977. Implemented a microcomputer in business 1978 and pioneered in the use of microcomputers in real estate appraisal and analysis.

A founder of REAMUG, the Real Estate Analysts North Star Users Group, in 1981 and editor of REAMUG Journal, a bi-monthly publication.

CONSULTATION:

Consultant in real estate applications for the microcomputer, member of the editorial board of Real Estate Solutions, Inc., publishers of the Guide to Real Estate and Mortgage Banking Software. Have consulted for lending institutions, governmental agencies, academics, large and small corporations and individual real estate analysts throughout the United States and internationally.

TEACHING AND SPEAKING:

Taught workshops and seminars to groups of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers (now The Appraisal Institute), The Society of Real Estate Appraisers, and the American Right of Way Association. A speaker and panelist at national meetings of the Appraisal Institute and the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and a frequent speaker to groups such as assessor's offices and local chapters of real estate appraisal groups.
