Expected number of attendees
About 400 paid attendees at Appraisal Today 2003 National Conference in
July. (About 240 attendees at the 2001 conference). We expect more this time
(500+) as the big years for CA CE will be 2004 and 2004.
Also, previous attendees plus those who missed the last one will want to attend. CA is on a 4 year CE cycle. 2001 was a low year for CE renewals.
I know how boring it can be sitting at a booth with no attendees because
everyone is in the education sessions, so I have set up the conference schedule
for maximum contact. With three concurrent sessions breaking at different times,
this is lots of attendee contact!
Total contact time
- Day 1: 1 hour 15 minute hour lunch plus 3 hour total breaks
(all sessions), = 4.25 hours plus continental breakfast 8AM - 9AM
- Day 2: 1 hour 15 minute hour lunch plus 3 hour total breaks (both
sessions)= 4.25 hours plus continental breakfast 8AM - 9AM
All refreshments and lunch will be in the Expo
room
Breaks will be staggered among the three concurrent sessions - about 20 minutes in the morning (1 break) and 40 minutes
in the afternoon (2 breaks) for a total of 3 hours each day.

- Price: Fees are $1,000 per 8 foot by 10 foot booth
- Attendees: projected 400-500 total
- Almost all will be appraisers
- Many will be trainees and new licensees -
looking for new products and services
- Pre-qualified for appraisal products
- Availability: Booths reserved on a
first come, first paid basis. Please note that there are a limited number
of booths available. Booths will be assigned on a first paid, first served
basis.

- August 5 - 8 AM to 5:30 PM
- August 6 - 8 AM to 5 PM
- Move-in - noon to 5 PM August 4 (later
move-in time available if needed)
- Move-out - 4 PM to 6 PM - August 6
- Education session hours:
- Thursday, August 5, 9 AM to 5:15 PM
with 1 hour and 15 minutes for lunch
- Friday, August 6, 9 AM to 5:15 PM
with 1 hour and 15 minutes for lunch
- Breaks will be staggered to allow for
more continuous traffic at exhibits
- Food service - all food will be in the exhibit hall.
Buffet lunches both days.

payment, your booth confirmation will be sent
to you. An Exhibitor’s Kit will be emailed to you.
- Our Trade Show Management Contractor is

- DSL service is available from the
conference facility, South San Francisco Conference Center.
- If you will be selling anything taxable in
your booth, you will need a 2-day sales license from the City of South
San Francisco. An application will be sent to you. Appraisal Today will pay the fee and handle the paperwork.
