George Opelka is the Director of Sales & Marketing for ACI software and has 15+ years of experience in the appraisal industry.

Prior to joining ACI in 1993, Mr. Opelka was active in the real estate information industry where he worked for California-based Damar Corporation (2 years, starting in 1985) and Market Data Center (6 years), two national real estate data providers.

He attended the University of Alabama where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in 1985 in marketing education, with a minor in marketing.

Mr. Opelka has served as a keynote speaker and lectured across the country on the topics of EDI and appraisal technology for Appraisal Institute, Employee Relocation Council, Freddie Mac, and Relocation Appraisers and Consultants.

He was exposed to appraisal at an early age. His father, Gregory Opelka, is a national past president of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers.
